How is the tip calculated?
The tip is calculated as a percentage of the bill amount, then added to the total. When splitting, the total is divided by the number of people. The formulas used are:
Total Amount = Bill Amount + Tip Amount
Per Person = Total Amount ÷ Number of People
Tip Per Person = Tip Amount ÷ Number of People
